OK, so maybe it doesn't get that cold but here's a nice picture of Mt. Denali in Alaska.

I found this picture while surfing in Alaska ( funnily enough ) looking for information on aircraft Artificial Horizons.
Why? You ask. It was research for my third year project which is:

Aircraft attitude indication by use of the earth's electric field
